Our fun local tours and adventurous multiday trips are led by experienced guides with an excellent guide-to-guest ratio.
You don't need any kayaking experience to participate in many of our trips as your guides are also talented instructors. Besides, a little enthusiasm and a sense of adventure go a long way! However, most people do find that they enjoy their multiday trip more if they've had some previous kayaking instruction.
We recommend our Sea Kayaking 1, 2, and 3 series for a thorough introduction, or our Kayaking Basics to get the fundamentals quickly. Your kayak rental is always included in the price of your trip. Join us for a few hours or a few days!

La Jolla Sea Caves
Our most popular local tour! This is a 2 hour guided tour of world famous La Jolla sea caves. Highlights include dramatic scenery, frolicking in gentle ocean surf, and abundant wildlife including sea lions, dolphins, and gentle leopard sharks! Hundreds of people have gotten hooked on kayaking with this tour!

La Jolla Whale Watching
Each January and February we offer guided whale watching excursions by kayak. We only need to paddle a mile or two offshore to find ourselves in the path of migrating gray whales! An unbeatable combination of spectacular scenery and wildlife!
