The Southwest Paddle Fest is held in San Diego, California on beautiful Mission Bay. The festival will once again make use of the exceptional facilities at Campland on the Bay which include 650 feet of beachfront access for kayak and SUP demos, plenty of area for manufacturers booths, acres of protected water for classes, speaker tents, on-site tent or RV camping for as little as $15/person/night, food concessions, laundry, hot showers, game rooms, swimming pools and spas, and entertainment venues!

PARKING: Campland charges a "day use" fee of $10/car to park in the campground (campers are exempt). Park outside the campground on surrounding streets to avoid this fee, or park at Aqua Adventures (1548 Quivria Way) and enjoy the free shuttle service!
Directions
Driving: From I-5 northbound exit Grand/Garnet. Turn left on Grand at the first stop light. Turn left on Olney St. and contiue 4 blocks. The road will bend to the left and you will see big signs for Campland on the Bay. From I-5 southbound exit Garnet/Balboa. Turn right on Grand at the second stop light. Turn left on Olney St. and contiue 4 blocks. The road will bend to the left and you will see big signs for Campland on the Bay. From I-8 westbound, get on I-5 northbound and follow the directions above.
Flying: San Diego international airport is a short 15 minute drive from the Symposium location. Los Angeles' LAX ia a 2-3 hour drive depending on traffic. The John Wayne Airport in Orange County is about an hour drive, but offers many fewer flight options. From any of the above airports, simply get on I-5 (northbound from San Diego, southbound from Orange County or LAX) and follow the above directions.
