Brian Cohen

Brian joins us after years of paddling and guiding in the scenic but chilly waters of the Bay Area. A touring enthusiast, he has enjoyed many multiple day trips in Baja, Belize, Vancouver Island, and the San Juan Islands. Brian's full time gig is with The Nature Conservancy, working as a Geographer for projects from Ventura down into Baja, including some exciting endangered species recovery work on Santa Cruz Island. And as for getting up close with nature, ask him about the time a sea otter in Monterey Bay hauled itself up onto his kayak!
